There is something really fascinating about animals and their relationship to life. Since early childhood I watch animals, all kinds of them. I love the way they are who they are. I love their joy, although situations are sometimes clearly not ideal for them.
They teached me about how sacred life is.
Slowly I am understanding why we humans complicate life that much, why we react so often as if life is against us. It has to do with early learnings, with inprints. At the same time as I watched as a kid all kind of animals my thinking created walls of protection against humans. I wanted to be an animal. Although I guess there is not one animal on earth who would want to be a human.
For us – humans – acknowledging who we are, is a process, a path. And not an easy one. That’s probably why we are human.
